Demon Slayer Season 2 Updates: The anime world shares a humongous ardent fan base for several years. One of the most prominent and famous anime is Demon Slayer. It is a Netflix animated series also called Kimetsu no Yaiba. With only one season available yet, the fans have started going crazy over the series. And all of them are anxiously waiting for a sequel to arrive.

The release date for Demon Slayer Season 2

Season 1 of Demon Slayer was available for the audience in September 2019. And recently, Netflix renewed the contract for a sequel of Demon Slayer nowing to its outstanding IMDb ratings. Initially, the sequel was set for an October 2020 release. But owing to the current pandemic situation, the production process was at a halt.

So, currently, no official release date is available for Demon Slayer, Season 2. But, we expect it to be available on screens by the mid of 2021. However, we await any official confirmation.

If you are an ardent fan of Kamado and his sister Nezuko, then we have great news for you. Well, they will be returning for the sequel of the Demon Slayer. So, the main voice cast is quite the same with the sequel. Additionally, apart from the siblings, we expect Zanitsu Agatsuma, Genya Shinazugawa, Insuke, and several other characters. We expect several other voices cast as the story traces forward with Kamado getting closer to his revenge.

The storyline for Demon Slayer

Demon Slayer traces the story about a small village guy called as Tanjiro Kamado. He is the sole bread earner of his family and sells charcoal to help his family. However, one fine day, he returns from work only to witness the slaughtering of his family by demons. The lone survivor of this massacre is his sister, but unfortunately, she is now converted into a demon. After this brutal incident, Kamado vows to avenge his family from the demons to get his sister back. As his journey goes deeper, he faces many difficulties. This anime is adapted from a manga with a similar name.

Plot details for Demon Slayer, Season2

Till now, as in till the ending of the 1st Season, the anime has followed the manga. The manga consists of total of 3 volumes. So, we expect the sequel to follow the second volume. With the original plot still under the wraps, we expect it to be more intriguing and interesting than Season 1.
