Amazon launches a new Cloud Gaming Platform ‘Luna’

On 24 September 2020 Amazon announced its upcoming cloud gaming service called ‘Luna‘. Amazon Luna will enable the users to stream games without downloading them. Luna will be available for PC, Mac iOS, Androids, and Amazon Fire TV.

Amazon also partnered with Ubisoft to enable Luna Subscribers to access Ubisoft titles. “Ubisoft channel subscription will provide access for players to their favorite Ubisoft titles with a resolution of 4K, mobile gaming, and will be able to get access to new titles that channel launches like Assassins Creed Valhalla, Far Cry 6, and Immortals Fenix Rising the same day they release.

In this Luna cloud game channels, subscribers can play games from their favorite publishers and genres, it is the first time for Amazon to do so” describes Amazon.

List of Games:

Amazon Cloud Gaming Platform is said to have about a total of 100 games available in it. Some of them are confirmed like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Control, Two Point Hospital, Sonic Mania Plus and Yooka-Laylee, The Impossible Lair, Abzu, A Plague Tale: Innocence, Aragami, AO Tennis 2, Atomic: Run Gun Jump Gun, Blazing Chrome, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night,  Castlevania Anniversary Collection, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, Contra Anniversary Collection, FIFA 21, Furi, Everspace, Control, Grid, Obduction, Overcooked 2, The Sexy Brutale, Rime and a lot more.

More About Amazon Luna:

Amazon Cloud Gaming Platform can be considered as a new competitor for Microsoft’s cloud and Google’s Stadia in the field of cloud gaming services. At its launch in October 2020, Amazon Luna will have 100 different games and will be powered by AMS.

The introductory price for Luna will be $5.99 per month. There was also an announcement about Amazon’s Alexa-enabled controller for Luna but one can also use a mouse, keyboard, or Bluetooth controller for the same.
