Netflix’s Unsolved Mysteries Volume 2: Confirmed Release Date & Every Other Detail

The crime mystery series ‘Unsolved Mysteries’ is up for another volume. The fans who are waiting to solve the mysteries together with the show’s investigators will be pleased to hear that the wait is over and the upcoming volume will be released next month.

After the six episodes of the first volume were aired in July on Netflix, tackling the unsolved crimes from 1987-2010, the show attracted an overwhelming response of 2000 tips being sent by the viewers. The new installment will focus on bringing new unsolved mystery to the public eye in hopes the tips sent will help solve them.

Unsolved Mysteries Volume 2: Release Date

After Netflix’s Twitter post, it became pretty much clear that the upcoming six episodes of Volume 2 will be available on Netflix on October 19th, 2020. The 1st Volume of the show is streaming now on Netflix.

Cases to be Featured

What’s the fun if there is no suspense in finding out which mysteries will we get to investigate? Most probably there will be a new mystery every episode. Netflix has made sure that the hunger for mysteries remains intact though they have given us some hints as appetizers.

“Right now we are tracking cases in Brazil,” said the Co-creator of the Mystery series while talking to the New York Post. The second volume will undoubtedly continue to feature international cases.

Doing some statistics about the previous volume and the upcoming one, as the previous volume featured 3 international cases out of the 12, we can expect 2 cases out of the six outside the United States this upcoming volume.

Meurer gave the fans another reason to sit tight and wait while talking about a paranormal activity related episode going to be featured this volume in an interview with Variety.

“Yes. But I’ll qualify that and say it’s an unusual ghost episode. That’s all I’ll say. It’s different. A bit different.” he said.
