Vergil DLC Arriving to Devil May Cry 5 on Xbox and PS4 and Much more

Published by

Devil May Cry 5 Updates: Capcom has confirmed the introduction of Vergil via DLC in Devil Can Cry 5 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Last week, when Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition released on the PS5 Showcase, Dante’s brother revealed as a new playable character in the series.

New features including ray tracking and improved 3D audio, Turbo Mode, and Legendary Dark Knight Mode included in the new version of the title. But the biggest change is the launch of Vergil as a playable character.

It was unknown until today whether you will be able to get Vergil on current consoles in the regular version of the game.

Producer Matt Walker and director Hideaki Itsuno have revealed. So that Vergil will arrive on PS4 and Xbox One as a premium DLC for the base title.

What All Changes We Are Going To See?

Thanks to technological constraints, all of the changes you can find in the Special Edition will not appear on PS4 and Xbox One. But at least if you hold the base title, you will be able to get the highly inspired swordsman.

According to the developers, more detail about the Vergil move set is going to be released soon. For the DLC, a release date has not been provided. But Devil Can Cry 5 Special Edition releases on November 10 on Xbox Series X and November 12 on PS5. So it’s fair that Vergil will be available about that time.

The Devil May Weep 5 Special Edition revealed today during the PS5 Showcase.

With Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition, Capcom is kicking the next console generation off.

In addition to the “heavily demanded” introduction of Vergil as a playable character, this version comes with new features and game modes.

Next-gen technologies such as ray tracing technology and upgraded 3D audio. With fan-favorite modes like Turbo Mode and Iconic Dark Knight Mode. So the addition of content from Deluxe Edition and EX Color Pack can expect for this update.

At a later date, the release timetable of the physical versions will be communicated.

The Xbox Series X edition will also be compatible with the Xbox Series S. Ray tracing will provide as part of a free gameplay upgrade for the Xbox Series X and Series S versions of the game.
