Nintendo Switch Features with 4K Graphics will it be a Successor ?

Nintendo Switch Updates: On March 3, 2017, Nintendo introduced a video game console. Nintendo Switch is a hybrid console as it can be used as a home console as well as a portable device.

It supports both, online gaming via the Internet and wireless ad hoc connectivity with other consoles. It competes with Microsoft Xbox One and Sony’s PlayStation 4 as an eighth-generation gaming console. Nintendo Switch Lite, a hand-held focussed revision of the Nintendo Switch was released on 20 September 2019.

The Consolebecame one of the fastest-selling gaming consoles in the USA and Japan, by the start of 2018. There was a sale of 61 billion units of Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite all over the world by June 2020.

Features and Perks:

The console has a tablet-like monitor with a 6.2 inch LCD display. It’s Dock supports two USB ports of configuration 2.0 and 3.0 and comes with a pair of controllers called Joy-Con consisting of “Joy-Con L” and “Joy-Con R”. It also supports a wireless controller, Nintendo Switch Pro Controller. Nintendo Switch consists of a chip named Nvidia Trega X1 and has a capacity of 64 GB.

It works on a custom-made operating system known as Horizon and can support about 8 user profiles. As for the games, one can easily buy them from retail channels or from Nintendo eShop. The console also allows cloud gaming for games like Phantasy Star Online 2, Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, and Resident Evil 7: Biohazard.

Some of the most played games on Nintendo are Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Pokemon Sword and Shield, Super Mario Party, etc. It is also region free which is unlike other Nintendo consoles and it is so because this reduces the workload and costs.

Next-Generation Console:

Nintendo confirmed that there will be a successor of this widely acknowledged console. As for when the next-generation console will be introduced, it was said that it will arrive sometime in 20XX.
