Fast & Furious: Spy Racers Season 2 Updates: Based on Gray Scott Thompson’s Fast & Furious film series, Fast & Furious: Spy Racers is an animated Web television series. The first season of this animated series was premiered by Netflix on 26 December 2019.

The series can be categorized in spy, animation, and action – fiction genres. The first season of Fast & Furious: Spy Racers consists of 8 episodes. Netflix renewed the series for next season which is all ready to release.

Fast & Furious: Spy Racers Season 2: Plot

The story follows a group of teenagers, recruited by a government agency to infiltrate a sports racing agency. This elite racing league serves as the front for a criminal organization named “SH1FT3R”. Dominic Toretto‘s cousin, Tony Toretto is the main character who leads the team in the mission. After their first international mission in Brazil, the next season will trace their trip to Rio de Janeiro.

Tim Hedrick, one of the executive producers stated, “Echo steps up in a big way this season, and I think Echo fans are going to be very excited to see what she gets up to in Rio — she might just prove to be the best spy of the bunch,” as a hint about the plot of the second season of Fast & Furious: Spy Racers.

As an animated web series and a Netflix original, the series is bound to have an extraordinary voice cast. The viewers will hear the voices of  Tyler Posey as Tony Toretto, Charlet Chung as Echo, Luke Youngblood as Frostee Benson, Jorge Diaz as Cisco Renaldo, Camille Ramsey as Layla Gray, Renée Elise Goldsberry as Ms. Nowhere, and Avrielle Corti as Rafaela. The team of executive producers includes Vin Diesel, Neal Mortiz, Chris Morgan, Bret Haaland, and as mentioned above Tim Hedrick. Ryan Lofty composed it along with Jay Vincent.

The first season was widely acknowledged by the viewers as a famous review aggregator website named Rotten Tomatoes gave it an 83% approval rating. Netflix has already released the first official trailer of the second season and announced the release date of the series.
