Cobra Kai Ignored Mr. Miyagi’s Students and What the Franchise legacy?

Cobra Kai Updates: Cobra Kai, one of the most loved television series on Netflix. But most of the viewers don’t have enough knowledge of the full cinematic legacy. The base or main focus generally is on The Karate Kid.

Full cinematic legacy of Cobra Kai of 1984 directed by John G. Avildsen. Mostly, Netflix’s television series continuously focuses on all-male bravado that files the original movie franchise.

Moving in-depth of Cobra Kai, the plot basically represents the conflict between Daniel La Russo and Johnny Lawrence. They are the protagonist and the vilian respectively. Occasionally cites themes from the 1986 sequel The Karate Kid part 2. Primarily set up the turbulent backbone of the story between Johnny and his Cobra Kai’s mentor Mr. Miyagi.

Frequent tug of war situations can early be witnessed between Johnny and Daniel. This thing leaves the audience wandering will the matter between them will ever sort out. And the difference between them will resolve.

The impressive thing is this show not only depends on male protagonists. But also strengthens the narrative with the help of small stories. These stories involve Amanda La Russo, Samantha La Russo, Aisha Robinson, Carmer Diaz,  Tony Nichols.

Cobra Kai naturally references the legacy of Daniels mentor, Mr. Miyagi but entirely ignores the events depicting the next karate kid. Mr. Miyagi, a veteran of world war 2 attends a ceremony for Japanese – American soldiers at Boston in the fourth Frenchies film.

There he meets the teenage granddaughter of one of his old former friends and student. The name of the girl is Julie. Julie needs some help as Daniel once needed. So she ends up training with Mr. Miyagi.

Julie Pierce has a stand-alone story. That may be the reason why Cobra Kai hasn’t acknowledged it. Moving forward, Cobra Kai season 3 will be a good community for the showrunners to represent Julie as the base of the plot. Daniel may travel to Okinawa, Japan the hometown of Mr. Miyagi his mentor. Assuming Cobra Kai will probably acknowledge me..Miyagi’s legacy.
