Even if they are polar opposite, they both share a very special bond. This show holds 7 Emmy awards and 46 nominations. Though the middle seasons were lukewarm, season 11 brought the show back to its no. 1 spot.

They never needed each other’s company. Since their lives were so different that the hanging together gained them no benefit on a personal level. But they still hung out because they wanted to and no friendship can be purer than that. Apart from his mom, Sheldon only allowed Penny to sing ‘Soft Kitty, Warm Kitty’ to him which soothed him down in sickness.

The tough guy insults girl act Sheldon kept was cute but he really cared about her and would do little things to boost her mood if she was ever feeling low. On the other hand, Penny did a similar thing, despite keeping a cold and heartless front in front of him.
