collaboration and is currently inching towards its 3rd season. The show is based on the story of its namesake and his journey. The show is placed in the MC universe.

Iron Fist Season 3: Story

The plot of the story follows the journey of Danny who was alleged to be dead for the past 15 years. Now he’s returned to reclaim his children and company. Problems and dangers arise which makes him choose between family and being the superhero iron fist.

Crossing over into ‘The Defenders’ the universe, Danny decides to protect New York with all he’s got. But someone is here to threaten his real identity and he doesn’t know what he needs to do to protect the people he cares about. This is his fight and journey that is the focus of the show.

However, after a few years, the relation between Netflix and Marvel had issues that lead to the cancellation of many of their shows together. This meant that the iron fist also canceled for another season. This show’s first season did not particularly receive a good response from the marvel fans but the 2nd season brought the show back to life and became popular amongst the fans.

But since there is an obvious feud between the 2 production houses, they have decided to not follow through with the 3rd season. This has left the fans utterly disappointed and they are speculating what’s in store for the show.

Season 2 ended Ward’s story in an astounding place where he left for Asia to learn more about Iron Fist’s powers. It hinted that season 3 would cover the friends to enemies to back to being friends’ plot. The production hasn’t given out an absolute about discarding the show completely so there might be some hope for the fans out there.

The season 2 finale of the iron fist left many open plot points which is the main reason for fans to latch onto hope. The hope of getting a new season and in turn getting answers.

Season 3 chances are slim and next to none. But the many blank spaces that the fans want to be answered might pressure Marvel is looking into an alternate route to bring back iron fist for its 3rd season.
