Perry Mason season 1 reached its finale on 19 August 2020 on HBO in the US and 10 August 2020 on Sky-Atlantic in the UK. The detective fiction drama left a very good impression on audiences. Ben Travers of Indie Wire said that season one of Perry Mason is “built with confidence, patience and a voice calibrated for today’s audiences” and gave it a rating of ‘B+’. A famous review website Rotten Tomatoes gave a 77% approval rating on Perry Mason season 1.
As a result of it, the news for renewal of Perry Mason was confirmed on 22 July 2020, which was even before the conclusion of the streaming of season 1.
