Chosen Ones is Veronica Roth’s first try at an Adult Novel. This book has become as famous as the divergent series. The producer, Erik Feig, who also produced the Divergent Series, bought the movie rights for this book! Many speculate that he may reunite the original team of Divergent to bring us another blockbuster hit!

Veronica Roth unveiled her new book in 2020. The news for the movie based on this book came a few weeks back. We can assume that production hasn’t started. Moreover, the coronavirus pandemic has caught the world in its grip. There is a delay in production worldwide. With the virus showing no signs of slowing down, we can assume production will not resume any time soon.
Meanwhile, the writers also have to come up with a script. This delay may cause production to start as late as 2021. Unfortunately, this means the movie will not hit screens before 2022!

The five teenagers have a mission to beat an evil entity known as the Dark One. Moreover, a prophecy from fifteen years ago has set them on this journey. The Dark One is equipped with many dangerous weapons and wants to bring destruction to America. However, the five manage to rise to the challenge and can beat the Dark One.
One would expect that this is how the movie ends, right? Wrong! Viewers are in for a bigger treat. After defeating the Dark One, the teenagers become famous. They thought that their only purpose in life was to defeat the Dark One. The five believe that they have fulfilled their destiny. However, Solane goes on to find secrets from her past. Ten years after they conquered the Dark One, one of them will die. Which one of them will it be? We simply have to wait to find out!
